Changes to the EYFS curriculum

As an EYFS, we are participating in the Early Adopter scheme for the Early Years Foundation Stage Reforms for the academic year 2020-21.

This means that we will not be reporting on the 2017 Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, but instead will follow and report on the EYFS reforms early adopter framework. This framework will become statutory for all schools in the academic year 2021-22.

By participating in the Early Adopter scheme for the Early Years Foundation Stage Reforms this year, we are getting a ‘head start’ on understanding the framework. We can also ensure that we adapt our curriculum to meet the needs of our children, with the updated Early Learning Goals in mind.

The links below will take you to the latest documents produced by the Department for Education.

Your child will still continue to receive the very best Early Years education, here at Rack House. If you have any questions at all about this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
