New Morning Routine

From next Monday (11th September) we are going to change the morning routine as the children enter the class.
The doors to Nursery will continue to open at 8:45am and you are still more than welcome to come in with your child to settle them in if you wish.
Inside the Nursery there will be activities set out and ‘Mini-me’s’ (a picture of each child on a wooden block) placed next to each activity. The children will need to find their ‘Mini-me’ and join in with that activity.
All the activities will be focused on developing pre-writing skills. For example, copying patterns to develop left to right movements, dough gym to strengthen upper body muscles or recognising and matching letters from their name.
At 9am a shaker will sound which will signal the end of this session and time for parents to leave.
If you have any questions about the new routine, please free to speak to any of the Nursery Team.
Spare clothes / wellies.
Please could all children bring into school a bag of spare clothes (this doesn’t have to be uniform) and a pair of wellies which can be left on their peg at all times.
We use our outdoor learning space at all time and during all-weather, so children will inevitably get wet and dirty at times. We do not have a large selection of spare clothes to change them so it is important they have spare clothes for these occasions and wellies they can wear to prevent their shoes getting wet.

Thank you
Mrs Starczewska and The Nursery Team.
