RHS Flower Show

We have a gardening club at school and our children have enjoyed it so much, Mrs Botts and Mrs Scholes have entered the school into The RHS Garden Show this year which will be held at Tatton Park. The children will design their garden and then it will be displayed at the show with the children and staff growing the flowers and arranging them for the show. We have been officially invited and when we have more details, I will let you know!  .

Mums and Tots Mornings

We are going to start a mums and tots morning every Monday in school from 9am -10.45am from 4th February. Here parents with children up to the age of 4 can come to school, meet other parents and children and hopefully enjoy themselves. This will allow parents to socialise and share information whilst allowing their children to mix in a safe environment at no cost!

If you know of anyone who would be interested, let them know and they are welcome to come along!

If you have any baby gyms, baby seats or baby / pre-school toys you no longer have use for, can you send them into school please. These will be used for the children to play with when visiting the school.

Nursery and Reception

Nursery and reception would like to thank all parents for being so generous in giving old clothes, underwear, socks etc. I have been asked to ask parents if they have any children’s socks or underwear, please keep giving to the Nursery. We now have enough of the other clothing. Many thanks for your support and generosity.

After School Club

Can I remind all parents that they should contact the school office if they wish their children to attend the club. Prices remain the same as last year and we hope you take advantage of this extra service.

School Dinners

Due to our expanding school, we are continuing to have staggered lunchtimes. This proved to be very successful last year and the children and staff are happy with the arrangements. The weekly menu is available on the school website. The option of a halal dinner continues to be available this school year. The cost of a school dinner is £2.20 per day (£11 per week).  A selection of fruit is available at dinner times to encourage healthy eating!
